I hope our first three rounds this year could mimic that of 1992! Pro-Bowlers at OL (Searcy), ILB (Kirkland) and NT (Steed).

IMO, 2002 may be our best overall draft in the past 30 years! Six very solid contributors came from that class. Also pretty cool how our last 12 first overall picks have been at least good at one point or another (Simmons would've been a beast if not for his disease).

    Those are three good picks!

Yeah, Colbert is 12 for 12. They didn't all work out perfectly (Plax & Holmes didn't "jive" with the team for whatever reasons, but were undeniably good picks with enormous success in the league; Simmons is unfortunate but steadied our line when he was healthy and helped us win a Super Bowl). Ziggy is very controversial, but I think will work out. Definitely can't call him a bust unless he falls off the planet this year. My thoughts on Mendenhall are well documented... Then you have guys like Hampton, Troy, Ben, Heath, Pouncey. All elite. Heyward will probably be in that group soon.

Quite a streak. Boy, I'm hoping that "Mike Adams is the apple of our eye" report was a load of crap. Because I think he'll be there at #24.

He's made some good first round picks but isn't "12 for 12" in my opinion.

if they do pick him, i sure hope he gets down to business and plays like he's capable and we don't have to worry about that spot for a long time. i would also hope we could make colon work at RG. i think he would be a top player in the league at that spot. he and gilbert on the right side would be a formidable tandum. i miss leon searcy, he was one of my favorite picks and i hated that we let him get away at the time.
