Crazy the championships each team has won in that span
k I'll take it down a notch lol
that is why I kept ab jersey
I think Tomlin was more guilty of feeling entitled than anybody else. Need a SB or bust mentality this year.
Brady & Tomlin > Ben & Belicheat?
I think if the Steelers had Brady he would have never become the GOAT and would have been traded or had a career ending injury. Ben won with the worst offensive line in the NFL by a long shot, and Brady has proven time and time again he can't play when pressured. Rex Ryan's Jets always gave NE trouble because he played to pressure the QB and either the Jets would win a squeaker because of no offense or they'd get blown out when the refs wouldn't call holding penalties against the NE o-line.
Oh, and I thought you didn’t like pig wings.
seriously. Belicheat is the GOAT. if we had the cheat we would've three peated from 2008-2010
They didnt crack the top 10 vegas odds to win the superbowl either, at 20-1 they are ranked eleven:
New England Patriots 6-1
Kansas City Chiefs 6-1
Los Angeles Rams 8-1
New Orleans Saints 9-1
Indianapolis Colts 10-1
Chicago Bears 14-1
Philadelphia Eagles 14-1
Green Bay Packers 14-1
Los Angeles Chargers 16-1
Cleveland Browns 16-1
Pittsburgh Steelers 20-1
Sounds about right to me. Steelers need to step up and prove they belong in the top echelon of teams. Right now they are clearly not among the elite.
Chiefs at 6-1? What am I missing? Rebuilding their defense this year will not affect their w/l total or Mahomes is the next Otto Graham.
Vegas odds are based on how the public is betting, not on the actual chances to win.
The Browns have had one 10-win season in the last 20 years (and never more than that, in the new franchise). Their odds for a Super Bowl win are based on hype, not by action.
Green Bay still has Rodgers, but the rest of the team is a mess. They've had two losing seasons, and will likely have to enter the playoffs as a wild card (if the Bears continue playing well).
I suspect the Steelers odds are weighted (too heavily) by the loss of AB and Bell not being on the team (despite not playing at all last year anyways).
Big Ben would already be retired with 7 rings.
I agree I think the Steelers have a better shot than the Browns or Packers imo. I’ve no great issue with the rest being ahead for now.
Steelers can probably beat anybody on that list on their day though.
Interestingly ESPN has the Steelers as the eight best roster in the NFL using PFF metrics
You just make it more and more obvious don't you?!
He's probably never had them prepared correctly.
