Over all I think it's a good choice, that really was a pretty outstanding Super Bowl. It's probably because I'm a homer, but I think the Steelers-Cardinals Super Bowl is too low. There were a lot of great plays in that game and it ended with what I think is the greatest catch in Super Bowl history! The Tyree catch was pretty sweet, but better than a Super Bowl winner?

Steelers are really represented with 3 of the top 10 though. #1,7,10.

I've always called it the greatest Super Bowl ever. Very historically significant. The first time a team had won 3. Also the cowgirls 31 was the highest point total ever for a losing team. Also wasn't it Bradshaw's first 300yd game? I believe it might be the most Hall of Famers on a Super Bowl field at the same time. The great Franco run up the middle. The great Lynn Swann catch sorta reaching behind his head. Rocky leaping a whopping 3 inches off the ground to bring in a td pass. Just classic. Then Chuck Noll coming out after the game and saying "I don't think we've peaked yet." Man what a team! All you elderly people that got to actually experience it as it happened should be very grateful!

I thought XIII was one of the most exciting games I've ever watched. I was pretty young, but I can remember it like it was just a few years ago.

That was the best one to me, two great teams in a high scoring game Hall Of Famers everywhere.

I am always amazed how people fondly remember SB XIII as and thrilling close game, but in reality it was not.

If I remember we were winning by 18 points half way through the fourth quarter. We went to prevent defense, considered it as being garbage time. Dallas only managed to put lipstick on that ugly score because they were able to recover an onside kick to get an extra possession and take advantage of the prevent defense.

In summary, we dominated, then let our guard down when we felt we had the game in hand. Maybe somebody can correct me if I`m wrong, but that is how I remember it.

No they definitely only made it close at the end. However if Jackie Smith hadn't dropped that td pass it would have really been interesting. Also since the defense went in to prevent mode I now totally say Fire Chuck Noll Immediately. LOL!

So what you're saying is, times really haven't changed. Up by 15, go to prevent defense...
