    We knew it was likely coming, but it doesn't make it much of an easier pill to swallow. I really hoped he'd take the hometown discount, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I was really looking forward to seeing him 'back to his old self' this year. Hopefully, he finds a decent payday on an NFC roster.

    So much for this team not making the hard choices...

    I made a thread about this because I just saw the story on NFL.COM. My bad for doing that. I'm with you though. I just sent someone a text telling them about it and said what you said. I knew it was coming probably but that doesn't make it any easier. I wonder if he's just the tip of the iceberg? Colbert said that there would be some changes so maybe we're in for quite a few more.

    I think, with all the money Goodell has lifted from his pocket, that he really had enough of losing money. I'm not saying he was hurting financially but just on principle, enough is enough.

    No way, James is a prideful man, he is going to prove that the Steelers made a mistake. I just hope it doesn't come at the cost of Ben! Please please let an NFC team take him :beg:
