why is Real steel still posting? Is his word no good?

 

He only said he wouldn't post on the gameday threads. All others are fair game.

 

I like them and I guess I am one of the few that liked the Jet/Bills ones. I hate the bumble bee one's and in my opinion are a top 3 most ugly in the NFL.

Colleges started all of these wild color combinations for their teams, ever see how many bright colors Oregon has come up with, ASU and Uof A have 7 or more different UNIs and helmet color combinations they wear during the year, and it seems like every year they add another one: The NFL being a copy cat league is just following the leader, truth is we prefer to stay traditional to our team colors, and in the final result flashy UNIs dont win any more games for us than just sticking with black and gold will win for us....

 

so basically before too long
the traditional uniforms will be throwbacks

 

No, not throw backs, but bright color combinations, or as college athletic directors are saying, the young players they are recruiting expect flashy colorful uniforms, at least thats what they think about it, probably more and more college teams that havent made the change will do so in the future especially those schools that are disadvantaged in recruitment; Now will someone tell me what that puzzle maryland put on their helmets is supposed to mean other than god awful

 

eventually the traditional uniforms will be throwbacks because all the uniforms will be flashy home, away, color scheme.
That's the state flag on there helmet.

 

I disagree, look how many bubble bee's you see at the games......as long as we are going to buy the NFL will add new things so the sales keep going up.
