STEELERS COACHING AND CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM

I joined this board during some of the roughest years in Steeler Nation. There are many on here that get criticized for talking negative about our coaching staff. I don’t agree on coach bashing or player bashing. But there is a difference in constructive criticism.
As fans we have every right to question WTF is going on. I know we are only 1 game in and we played an elite team( remember when Steelers were considered elite?!?) But we look the same as we have the last few years! Pathetic play calling, have we just become content on being a mediocre team?! Also this BS about how great coach T is coz he never had a losing season, does this make him the greatest Steeler coach ever? Hell no!
All that being said i will forever bleed black n gold. But some major changes need to happen for Steelers to get back with the elites!

 

Not going to get into the fray of MT as it's useless and redundant. However, I watched the 2-0 Eagles game on MNF and as the game progressed, it reminded me of good old fashion Steelers smash mouth football. Pound the crap out of the defense with a bad ass OL and march the ball right down Minn throat. Good defense and ST's as well. I would not want to play them as their OL looked to have their way and able to run at will. Minn made it a game but still lost. Why bring this up? Well, a couple years ago our running game sucked and ARII on down made a commitment to improve this. Well, how do you think that's going after all this time? Season is young of course, but the culture and leadership remain the same, but will the results differ? Let's see what we can do against the Stains and a few more games to give it time to start forming some hypothesis of 2023. JMO>
