Christmas day on Netflix. Most of you may have known this but I just found out Netflix paid 150 million for us and the Ravens/Texans. Hey, they know a bad ass division when they see one;) AFCN!

Article was interesting and mind blowing. In 2010 when the NFL revenue was 8 billion Goodell set a goal of 25 billion by 2027. Jones of Cowboys was saying it's highly possible they hit the mark.

I'm guessing any Network or Streaming service that calls Roger with a good offer will be showing an NFL game in the future.

Pretty soon you're going to need a pricey streaming service to watch the National Anthem and Sign-off late at night.

I too miss those days. If you wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep there is some strange ass stuff on in the wee hours.

It’s a business. They didn’t “sell out”. Theyre in this to make money. Goodell was hired for two reasons. Cleanup the image of the league and make the owners money. He’s been successful at both despite what the boo birds say

And in doing so he has made the game way too one dimensional and extremely soft. Flag football will be the norm before we know it. It’s already half way there.

Maybe maybe not. Intimately he’s doing the owners bidding.

I liked the game better 20 years ago.

ABC, NBC, CBS. not 8 different networks, needing paid memberships to view here there and everywhere.

to each his own, as they say.

it has created the prima donna NFL culture that we have.

They were talking on the Dan Patrick show and wondered when the first 100 million per year contract would appear, and what sport it would be in. A guy in the NBA supposedly has one year at the end of this contract that hit 80 million, with less players on a team the 100 million mark will probably be in BB, but there is a cost I won't cross. When streams and other avenues cost more than I am willing to pay, I shut it off and don't miss it. Even with nothing else to do on Christmas day, I doubt I tune in, I want quality product, not quantity shoved down my throat.

The NFL is too damn greedy, games on Black Friday and Christmas day . Enough already last year I didn't watch their Black Friday game, or their Christmas day game. I also didn't watch most of the Thursday games on Prime.

Want to rollback the clock to when the Steelers were in the AFC Central and there were only 14 games in a season? :)

The Regular season will eventually be 20 weeks long with 2 bye weeks, and be broadcast on everything imaginable, and an Actual PPV Event is coming, where even local fans will have to pay for a 1 game showing.

Actually that's what happen with soccer teams, they now own quite a few major soccer teams in England and other countries. Also they then have the monies to buy players from other clubs.

Yes Rog has turned it into a great love fest and keeps the players on the straight and narrow. It's like a G movie now perfect gentlemen.

And players safety is at the forefront so much they continue to add games! And now they can wear the sponges on their heads if they want! All the while knowing (well some people in reality know) that the brain moves.

And he shunned the gambling aspect at first. Now he's like a hooker in bed with Vegas.

Yes he has turned it into a money printing machine even more then it was. Thursday Night Football as well as Monday Night Football suffer. But they will always have a player. Soon this league will all be on streaming services. 18 games will be at a TV soon.

I'm not much for looking in the past but the product sure was better.

And yes he works for the owners. And they love him. They are in bed together. Add the union as well.

yes - player safety #1 but let's EXPAND THE SCHEDULE forever, keep the rosters the same # of players and squeeze more BLOOD out of the turnip.

the product is worse, Thurs night games SUCK.

    yes, he has DONE WONDERS

it's about greed and money and more and yes - the Vegas Hooker is perfect!

    $$$ ruined sports.

No way in hell the city of Pittsburgh would have won 6 Championship in 9 years like they did in the 70's in todays world.
