Of course we do, but if you track it, I believe it would show that we run a lot more than pass from that set. 13 personnel with TE’s bunched to the right of the formation. We run it A LOT.

Haha, I was saying this to a buddy of mine a month or so ago. They're gonna have to change the rule eventually, right?

You dont think the safety would have been able to get there sooner then? I wish we can see more of the field because I cant see if the safety was accelerating or not. I struggle with this one on if he should rainbow a pass to let him run underneath it.

I believe that’s why he tried to fire it in there. Moonball gives the safety more time to get over.

I have never understood fans obsession with timeouts. They complain when Tomlin uses them when they are needed early in the game, they complain when he doesn't use them near the half. What good are 3 time outs at halftime, they don't carry over so you have 6 in the second half so why hoard them they are worth less than subway coupons now. It's a really strange thing to worry about ranks up there with empty seats at the start of the 3rd.

Chiefs have gotten every break and Steelers are still right in this thing. Need some big plays from Watt and Highsmith. Mahomes is a little gimpy with an ankle. Let’s put some pressure on him

The Steelers are blowing way too many opportunities. They are down six and the Chiefs get the ball first in the third quarter.

Once again, the Steelers are down after a big turnover by Wilson. I do think the announcers are right. Pickens screwed up his route, which made it too easy for the safety to cheat over and intercept the pass. That said, Wilson needs to see that and dump it off. Then again, Washington needs to realize all he had to do was shove that defender to give Warren enough time to get through the hole and the Steelers have that touchdown and a 14-13 lead right now.

I think so. The ball would have been thrown a lot deeper with a moon ball to allow Williams to run under it, so the Safety would have to run towards the pylon instead of the sideline. Tougher play to make running “away” from the ball, plus Williams is a long strider on a straight line. Pretty good chance he beats the safety to the spot or potentially makes a play/draws a flag… the window for the fastball had just barely closed. If it was half a second sooner, catch. Once that window was closing, it had to be the moon ball. Just my thought

That was the entire Ravens’ offensive playbook when Flacco was their QB

Watt is too beat up. The ankle is slowing him down and the injured thumb is limiting his pass rush moves.

A 4 man rush is not enough. Need to send a fifth dude up the middle.

    Well...

On to the second half, and this is still a ballgame. Considering how things started, that's a good thing.

Warren should get almost all the carries the rest of the way. He has clearly been the best back so far today.

Russ needs to protect the ball. There is no shame in winning this one ugly. If it's not there, check it down or throw it away.

Defense needs to make 1 big play. I'm not sure the offense has enough to get this done without a little help.

Ok, still gotta game . I wasn't loving that play calling during the drive with the too many men on the field. Smith gets these offensive brain farts.

You fans complain just to complain what's the point of calling a timeout there?

I will say that I like seeing Mike Williams getting involved early in the game for a change

You are right. And it looked like he had figured something out the two drives right before that one. I don’t get his personnel choices sometimes.

Same old December Steelers. Defense is playing better than offense. Too many missed opportunities in the red zone with turnovers.

By everything I read and heard, $35 million plus, per. On a 3-year deal? More than what I think the Steelers would be willing to pay and I think they would be right. Taking a hell of a chance paying that kind of money to a mid-30's player.
