Steelers CB Artie Burns was late to team activity before not playing a snap

We read about his battles with AB every PS he has the physical ability to hold his own .it's the mental aspect and his fundamentals that gets him in trouble. How many times have we seen him in great position only to have him peek back at the QB and lose his man and his focus? Now more than ever with all the pass attempts every game a CB needs the ability to move on from a bad play. I don't think he grasped that ability yet. His confidence is shot. Somehow that needs to be repaired....

Burns might be like Shamarko Thomas, maybe he just doesn't have it above the neck as Tomlin used to say.

I agree, most of his troubles are mental currently. I would hope the practice against AB84 etc would help him get his focus back. Put him in "game mode" during practice going against our WRs. Don't know how much he can improve his confidence going against Trey Griffey and Tevin Jones.

 

I wonder if she'll take a trade for Le'veon Bell.
