I will never forget that, after the "Kansas Krush" New England received in 2014, a reporter asked Belichick should he bench Brady.

My thoughts when I saw that?

Not that I don't agree with you just that your argument as presented was that Ben put up 29 on the Ravens while in a head to head Smith and Cousins managed just 20 to 23 points. So with out breaking it down your argument would suggest Borties was better than Ben because his offense put up over 50pts see what I'm getting at?

Not if they win the SB; you just CAN'T let a SB winning QB walk (unless it's Dilfer and the Ravens, and that was proven a mistake).

That's the rub, he was playing lights out in the preseason and just on fire the first four weeks but the still there is fan talk about wanting Mahomes.

In looking at the pros and cons for both the red flags for me on Cousins is the apparent money grab. If Smith gets screwed over again for a younger guy I feel like he takes a lesser amount and if need be wouldn't try for more than he is worth after a 1-2 year deal. Cousins with his shrewd moves would scare me.

As far as salary cap goes the Chiefs were up against it this season with the Berry deal, Houston and Hali, that's why they had to let Poe walk and why there was speculation about Smith. So it will be interesting to see how the move guys around.

I'd rather the Steelers not be favorites for anything. This team doesn't handle prosperity very effectively.

You can forget about Cousins, his price tag will be too high he's making 24 million this year. Smith is older and a stopgap he would be cheaper.

The Chiefs should be the favorites, they were able to do something the Steelers can't do win in New England.

I think the only reason they aren't is Andy Ried's record in the playoffs. Kinda like no matter what the Bengals record is heading in the post season until Lewis proves he can win a playoff game Vegas won't give good odds on them winning

We have seen how this plays out FAR too many times.
