I expect 14 points in the1st quarter. Browns get 3-10 in 2nd. Steelers 7 in 3rd. Browns get a field goal/ touchdown to make it a one score game in the early 4th.

Ben and AB take over. Win 35-13

I want a blowout, they need to jump on the Browns early. Make Mayfield have to play catch-up, then get the pass rush going after their weak OL. We should have 5-6 sacks in this game.

I'm sure we all want the Steelers to blow the Browns out, but I just don't see it happening. It got even tougher with the news that Marcus Gilbert is out with an ankle injury. A big part of the offense's progress the last few weeks was getting the offensive line healthy. Now they are dealing with a significant downgrade at right tackle with Feiler getting the start.

On the plus side, everybody else is healthy. Maybe Burnett and Fort can make a positive impact in passing situations. I'm assuming Edmunds will start again at strong safety despite Burnett practicing all week, but mixing the veteran in could help.

We had no business losing/tying the first game.... we totally beat ourselves.....
That said, this is a totally different team..
    Different qb... different rb1.....
Mayfield's gets the ball out a lot quicker than tyrod taylor, so the defense needs to tighten up big time.. ...and chubb has a lot more shiftiness in him to go along with power and hands out of the backfield..
Mayfield's is still a rookie though, and so is chubb..... so long as we don't use the pat mahomes approach, we will be fine

The only thing that levels the playing field against the Browns is turnovers. Take care of the football.
Talent wise the Steelers are a better team. Start quick, no sluggish starts.

I don't think the Steelers will be -5 or 6 in the turnover category this time.

I don't care what the final score is as long as the Steelers win by 8 points to cover th 7.5 points I'm giving to the Browns. I have 1,000 reasons to hope that happens. I think Steelers win by at least 10 probably more.

Against the Stains, the Cheats would be up double digits with late in the 4th and conversing about the next weeks win. Why is that?

I assume that is in the plan. As I mentioned elsewhere, the one advantage the Steelers have this time compared to the opener is McDonald will be playing.

Looks like I lost that bet.

How bout back up QB's? I recall some pretty brutal losses to the worst QB's in the league. Knowing Tomlin had a really poor record against teams with losing records was thinking that be indicative of rookies and back ups.

QBing too. I've always felt that a difference between Brady and Ben is that Brady wants to beat you 50-0, Ben wants to beat you on a last minute drive.

I doubt that is true, but Brady will put in the work to get every possible shred of production possible out of himself and his teammates. I don't think Roethlisberger has done that. Maybe Brady really is just that much smarter, but I don't think Roethlisberger studies the game at the same level. Everybody was talking about how much better shape he was in when he came to camp this year. Why didn't that happen years ago?

It's a tough standard. There are some guys, like Jerry Rice and Brady, who work at a level that puts everybody to shame. Roethlisberger just isn't one of those guys.

I don't think that about Ben, what I think about Ben is on any play he feels he can make it happen. Ben throws a lot of bad passes when he should throw it away. IMO it is cause he feels he can make the play, for example a few weeks ago vs the Ratbirds when we were down by the goaline and he should have thrown in away. Instead he forced it and it was an INT, that is the difference between Ben and Brady. I feel Ben is to confident in himself and his receivers. jmo

Even the clowns who seem to have improved their roster can't justify having Hue Jackson as the head coach anymore. We shell them and start the clown fans putting the Brown Bags back over their heads. Not that they should have been taken off in the first place. That's why they are Brown Bags :lolol:

Several prediction models have the Steelers winning and a total of 59 points scored. So gonna be a good day.

Can you imagine how good this team could be if they played the 1st quarter?
