Warner is on record crediting Haley with much of his success in Arizona, Blast. He said Haley put him in position to play his best football. You don't want to give Haley any credit, but Haley knows how to coach offensive football and how to put players in position to succeed. He made Warner better and he's made Ben better whether you want to admit it or not.

Warner had 377, 3tds and a pick(6). Ben had 256, 1td, and a pick. As to who won, The Steelers did. And all of us as well. LOL.

Q: Does it come down to you wanting to call the plays as opposed to the quarterback?
A: No. I have all the trust in the world in him calling the plays.

    http://blog.triblive.com/steel-mill/2011/10/20/arians-addresses-benno-huddle-comments/

Haters are going to hate , but it's clear Haley is the better coach, and OC. BA is a fraud riding the waves of very good D's.

Now I'm really done in this thread, there's nothing else to prove. When the Steelers win the SB with Haley you aren't allowed to celebrate. No Haley fairweather fans are allowed to celebrate

Jim, you're a rip man, go read that article again, you reach for anything to try and prove a point :lolol:

He let Ben do it once in a blue moon. That article is saying he trusts Ben but you need the other 10 guys on the same page.

Do you really think for a second, in the biggest moment of the year with so much at stake that BA would hand over play calling duties to Ben on that SB winning drive? Put your thinking cap on before answering.

Theres a hater here all right, most definitely you.

Oh, you've been done with this thread before, you were wrong about that too.

When we win the SB, no Tomlin/Ben haters allowed to celebrate!

The moon was blue and the other 10 were ready and able for the final drive. That was all Ben and Holmes. :dancing: You really think the only guy BA told Ben to throw the ball to was Holmes?

I never said I hated Ben, I only hate him when he goes back to playing like an idiot, and that was how BA taught him. Sunday night was the first time that Ben really looked like a true QB, his body language has changed under Haley

Ben was younger, healthier and quicker back then, I loved watching it too. Now that he's older, has been sacked, and injured a million times, he had to change. Haley is the man!!!! if BA stayed he would've kept Ben doing the same thing, and Ben would've been limping at the end of the season like he's always been.

I just asked Hines Ward on twitter if Ben called his own plays during the no huddle on that final drive, he said yes. Only during the timeout BA gave Ben a play the rest was all Ben haha I win and so does Haley

The Jury is still out on Tomlin. Just about the no huddle, if the no huddle works and Ben wants to use it, cus I'm guessing the Offence was playing flat, then Tomlin should be stepping in to say "screw BA, go no huddle Ben" It's the coaches job to do what works.

As for HC, Bruce has more experience being a HC, he was with Temple for 66 games, his incredible overall record there was 27-39. KC was the first time Haley was ever a HC, and his only weapon was RB Charles.

Hines sent me the message privately

You know what's funny about this debate is if I was to start dogging Ben about being an average Qb and saying that the final drive was all a product of BA's play calling and that it didn't point to Ben being an elite QB, blast would be in here arguing that that drive was all Ben. LOL

    Yep.

LOL, digging up college stats :roflmao:

I suspect that the jury will be out on Tomlin even if they win the SB this year, because you know, Cowhers players will be watching it on TV, all that mojo watching will certainly be the reason for them winning.

ok I didn't hear back from Hines , but I did ask Charlie Batch the same question, and he gave the same answer, BA called the plays when the clock stopped, Ben called his own plays with the clock running. So it's a tie. I'll take a photo of the convo on twitter if you want the proof

I am joking but you know you would be though blast that's why I find it funny. I've seen you defend Ben even when no one is attacking him but this is the first time I've ever seen you say that BA was behind that drive and it wasn't Ben and Holmes working some magic.
