Steelers/Bengals Time Change

Kinda weird that they flexed the game so to speak but not to a SNF game being that they are division rivals.

Obviously the Steelers aren't that impressive so far this season.

 

Ugh, I prefer 1 pm home games, 4 away games.

 

Me too. I'll be at this game so it means a long Monday for me.

 

I thought you were going to say 3am but competing with Ronco would be tough.

 

Messes up my travel plans a bit.
Can't wait for the game!

I'm going too....albeit by myself while my wife does whatever else with my kids. If anyone is looking to meet up or is part of some tailgate would def be interested

 

How much you want for them ? I sell the wife and pawn the kids .

 

Bad part is there is only one remaining 1 pm game for a home contest for the Steelers. The last game.

I hate flex scheduling. It screws up, people trying to make travel plans.

Here is a reason I hate it. Take my upcoming trip.

The wife and I are going from our home here in Northwest, PA, to make the road game trip to Indy.

That game is at 1:00 pm. Luckily the Colts aren't doing super hot, and we are 4 weeks out so I doubt it gets flexed.

But, if it does, here is the bad part.

I'm traveling Saturday morning, enjoying Indy and the sights, then hopefully it doesn't get flexed on Sunday.

Because the plan is to leave Sunday right after the game and travel back, takes 6 hours, so hopefully back at 11pm or so at my home.

That way we can both get back to work on Monday, if it were flexed to 8:25 at night. It would really screw everything up.

People make these plans months in advance, and it really screws them at the last minute.

Wish the NFL would ditch Flex scheduling.

 

It's a mid season Bengals v Steelers match up where both teams aren't looking very promising for post season play. You might get away with just sending a post card from Mt. Washington showing a half empty Heinz Field saying "Wish you were here".

Save selling the wife and kids for at least a Pirates home opening game ticket nose bleed seat.

 

I'll be tailgating in Red Lot 6.

 

We'll look for you. I'm bringing 68,000 of my closest game day friends. Hope you got beer.
