Anyone familair with the waikiki beach area know of any steelers bars there? The list that the post gazette has is outdated and none of the places it lists are open anymore.

    Thx

I have never been to Honolulu, or Hawaii for that matter. But If somebody on this board would like to fund a trip to hawaii for me, I would gladly take one for the team and devote my entire trip to finding the best steeler bar in Honolulu, no matter how many bars I have to walk into, I will find it....Anyone? Anyone?

lol the only problem about football in hawaii is they are like 5 hrs behind us so you would have to wake up at like 8am in hawaii time to watch the steelers...i dont know about you but that is way too early to get up if you are in hawaii

What a SACRIFICE that would be. Hang on a second - I'm trying to muster up a sympathy tear for all those Steelers fans in Hawaii who have to wake up at 8 AM to watch football.

    Nope - didn't happen.

I lived on Oahu for ten years. Can't recall any good Steelers bars, but spent most of my time on the North and West shores.....definitely won't find it there.

But, with a 6 hour time difference, the worst were Monday night games, because they added a 3 hour delay, otherwise it starts at 3pm. A few times, I wouldn't be able to avoid hearing the score before I could watch the game. Talk about pulling my hair out!

But can't say I know of any Steelers bars.

I'm definitely testing my sincere Steelers fandom with this thought but if I am ever lucky enough to make it to Hawaii I probably won't be searching for a Steelers bar. Sorry, can't help on this one.

As a life long Steeler fan who has been living in Hawaii for 14 years I've gotten used to waking up at 6am to start cooking for the early games. There's nothing like kielbasa, pierogis, and eggs for breakfast :dancing:

There are no true Steelers bars on Oahu but in Waikiki there is Lulu's and Legends, both are sports bars and both should open early for kick off.

I've always envied Hawaiians because of the time difference. Alaskans, too. Growing up on the west coast, games are at 10 AM and 1 PM. Night games around 5:30 PM. Now I live in the central time zone... I can't take it! I like rolling out of bed and turning on the game. Now I have to sit around all day wringing my hands. And the night games! Sometimes 8 PM!! I don't even know how you east coasters do it. I can't even handle the extra two hours.
