I am a firefighter and as a result I work closely with paramedics. With head or spinal injuries, time is of the essence. Proper precautions still need to be taken, but they can be taken quickly.

Not going to lie, I do and I'm sure the players do too. It's possible to care about more than one thing at a time and it's possible to care more about one thing than something else.

 

He's being evaluated, officially, for a back injury.

 

More than likely his heir apparent will be needed. Thankfully the 2018 NFL Mock Draft has some good athletes.

Hard to start playing again after seeing that happen to one of your brothers. Happened to a teammate in high school completely takes the wind out of everyone. Other team too, even.

 

Lets slow down for a moment. I agree, it doesn't look good, but it might not be as bad as it looked either. Compressing your spine like that can pinch nerves and make things go crazy where you can't move your arms and/or legs. I doubt we'll see him next week, but I wouldn't count him out for the season just yet.

At this point, I don't care if he comes back this season, I just want that young man to be ok.

Brown is doing well, but his explosiveness is definitely at a lower level than normal right now.
