    I took a look at how the Steelers have done as underdogs. I could only go back 30 games.

    19W--9L--2P dating back to Oct 7 1990 as Home Dogs

    16W-13L-1P =========Dec9 2007 as Road Dogs

    15W-12L-3P==========Oct 31 2010 overall last 30 H or R

    These #'s are ATS[against the spread] but more than likely the games were won outright. My guess is that is pretty pretty good.

    One notable win was ---
    Oct 30, 2011

    NE 17 PIT 25 W 3 W 51.5 U ---beat, I think Brady, in that one as a 3pt home dog.

    Anyone recall some others?

    Penn State showed being a huge underdog doesnt mean you cant win a big game, they wanted it right down to the wire and they took it from OSU, if the steelers want this game bad enough they will fight and scrap to get it just like penn state did last night, play inspired football and believe you can win and you usually will....And Tomlin is 2-4 career against the pats........

    Penn State also got pressure with the front 4 which would really help the Steelers do as well.

    PS played inspired football to win this game, they only had 1 returning starter on their defensive line this year and they haven't been this dominant until this white out game, the headline for the Pitt game summed up their defense until last night:

    Penn State football's defense struggles in 42-39 loss to Pittsburgh

    PIT 19 TEN 11 W -6 W 37 U

    Ben was suspended. 6ptdogs. Spectacular D effort. This game should be one of those all time top 10 memorabilia things. At least it is for me.

    C.Johnson 16 34 2.1 11 0-----I think he had set a bunch of records 2009. Yeah, a really terrific all round team and coaches effort.

    But I see your point. Still it would be nice to get surprised.

    The years run together, but if that's the game I remember, Harrison had a body slam of Vince Young that was just AWESOME!!!!

    If you thought the Philly game was ugly, oh boy, it's gonna be a massacre today. We all know Tom Brady own us. We may need to score about 50 to have a chance because it gets no sorrier than our defense. Am I wrong?? Can't tackle, can't cover, can't rush the passer. Can Landry Jones & company score 50 against the Pats defense?? Wanna know how sorry our pass defense is?? Last week Miama in the red zone on the 15 yard line. Our CB is backing up 10 to 12 yards as if he don't wanna get beat deep, and still got beat. I'll be surprise if Tom Brady don't complete over 95% of his passes...
