The Steelers share the lead in the division thanks to the Browns beating the Bengals.

I'm happy with this news but there's a long way to go. I really wish we hadn't dropped that game to those clowns in cleveland. Man I can't stand Hoyer. If they break the bank on him they are dumber than we even know.

This is Hoyer's final season in Cleveland, make no mistake about it. They didn't spend a first round draft pick on Manziel to watch him ride pine behind Brian Hoyer. How he performs over the next 7 weeks (and whether or not the Browns have a mathematical shot at the playoffs) will decide how much longer he plays.

Why? He's a very likable guy or do you just mean because he plays for the Browns? :lolol:

I just get the impression from him that he values himself much more highly than he should. I think he is absolutely a product of a "system". They have a good run game and a strong line. Also, yes, he plays for the clowns too. LOL. I really can't speak critically at the moment though because I just watched all 12 minutes of Too Many Cooks and my mind is totally blown. MAN I need to go to bed. LOL!

Hoyer is just another in a long line of QBs skimming glory off the unstoppable juggernaut that is the Cleveland Browns Quarterbacking Machine. Real plug 'n' play success there. :lolol:

I'm just glad the Bengals swept Baltimore before they imploded!

So, say the Steelers win the 3rd seed, for their sake, I hope the Browns are the 5th seed.

The division may come down to the last week of the season when the Steelers play the Bengals and the Browns play the The ravens, We might actually be rooting for the ravens that week
Did I actually say I would root for the ravens man I need a shower after that

Yet sadly him and Brady Quinn have wins against us. Neither of them will ever surpass the great Derek Anderson though. He puts his "freakin' heart and soul" in it every week and "nothing's funny" to him!

I was over at NFL Nework snooping around, walked into the standings it's a good sight seeing the Pittsburgh Steelers sitting on top of the mountain while the Rats are lying at the bottom looking up. :p

Yes. If the playoffs started today the Steelers would win the division.

According to espn we edge them out based on record vs common opponents.

Just posted this in another thread...figured it would help here as well.

If the season were to end today...we would win the division by rule of tiebreaker. We split head to head and we have the same division record....so the next tiebreaker is like opponents. We are 2-2 against like opponents and the clowns are 1-2. Like opponents to this point are Ravens, Tampa and Jags.

Trying to figure out how the Steelers are 3-1 in their last 5 and the Rats are 2-2
Might need another beer to do that math

I thought conference record trumped common opponents. I thought the superior conference record gave the Steelers the edge. But I can never remember the exact order of importance for tie-breaking measurements.

The Bengals have only 2 more home games - us and Denver - and 5 road games. Can you say "buh-bye?" I think that they will be out of it when week #17 rolls around.

The Browns and Ravens have much more favorable schedules. It may be a 3 team race until week #17.
