Sorry, even money on what? The bet on the Steelers is even money for $1,000.00 with me giving 5 points to the Titans.

my -5.5 spread on the steelers still only pays (-120). so about .85 on the dollar

I always look at the difference between the 1,000 and the 850 and 900 as the house cut or rake. Same result, someone is in your pocket for their money. To me it is the cost of doing business. So I don't look at it as wanting to win exactly I,000 and having to wager more to cover the house, I look at it as how much am I willing to lose on this game and in this case it is 1,000. Good luck to both of us. The two ponies I bet did OK. One won at 4-1 and the other won at 7-1 so even if I lose the Monday night game I come out about even, but to me coming out even is almost like losing. Again good luck.

I view breaking even as a win as I do a push in blackjack get to fight another round

last week the Steelers were even money. i jumped on that at -3pts oops

I do have two of the drivers left in the chase of nascar

I usually get those lines right after the season ends and look at who might get over the hump the next year.

Of course I probably wouldn't be so interested in the wagering if it wasn't for my uncle who used to take me to games and horses or otb as he did pretty well for himself. He did better when I was present and I even missed a few classes when he really insisted.

LIKE EVERY GOOD HUSBAND MUST!!!!I wish with all my heart I could give all my winnings and anything else I've ever had to her but I lost her to a heart attack 7 years ago after having her totally involved in everything I did for 45 years. She was as much or more of an animal lover than I so for the both of us I donate all my winning every year to an animal shelter in Utah she found and worked with often. They handle all types of animals and are huge as far as staff, housing and care for all of the animals. They have a strict no kill policy so they are my kind of people.
On an average over the seven years I've been lucky enough to send them a check at the end of each year for between $2,000.00 and $2,500.00, that includes football and horse racing. So if I lose a bet here and there , as long as at the end of each year the winnings can be somewhere in the average range it's ok. I'm a little ahead of pace this year so hopefully I can get to $3,000.00 by the end of the year, If the Steelers win the SB, at 35 to one on a $1,000.00 bet I made before the season started I can write a nice size check to send them.

One bet doesn't mean much to me. I've lost on them before and I'm sure I will again. As long as I win a majority of the bets I make it will be fine. So far so good.

Along time ago when I was a young man,
bet alot college on Saturday pro's on Sunday.
Always won on Sat but could never hit that
3 teamer on Sunday. LOL Thank goodness my betting days are over.

I hope yinz know Im just busting your stones. You probably have been winning and losing bets as long as I. Of that I have no doubt. However yinz were SOOO sure of this game. Had to call yinz on it my friend. We ALL know..."Aint no such thing as a sure thing." #1 rule in gambling that you seem to have forgot. Just had to remind you my friend.
