He was injured in preseason, maybe it was worse then they led on. I know Lake spoke very highly of him so I'm not so sure it was work ethic related. Like Mac said though, lots of suspect moves this year.

Me thinks this guy might be the Ray Rice practice back this week.

Aye. I don't remember ever seeing a report of Golic Jr wowing in camp. He was always a long, long shot. I know some folks here were big on his college game, but it never seemed likely he would translate that into the pros.

Actually I think I would always remember a name like Slovobnik. LOL.

We must really be bad for a PS signing to get this much attention.

Ok, let me join in, I can't believe K. Moore beat out JD Woods. I find it hard to believe we signed Wylie over Woods who is still out there. I'm really puzzled as to why we now have 3 WR on the PS.

I thought they were high on Hawthorne ( post draft ) but obviously something went wrong.

Baxter? Is Chris Carter doing so well enough or was Baxter progressing just too slowly to keep him around.

I just got mad all over again, forgot Woods wasn't on the PS. I give up, I'm just going to file this under my fan membership card as "not enough information".

I think that I knew a Slovobnik, North Side, I think.
Anyway, definitely a Pittsburgher, who could probably make some killer halushka.

I'm going to disagree on Kashif Moore. I watched him play in person about a dozen times at UCONN, and he's a really high potential guy. I think his growth as a receiver was stunted by playing with joke QBs for most of his college career, but there's solid potential there.

I didn't speak bad of Moore. I thought JD Woods outperformed him in the pre-season. I also thought Brown was a lock for the 53 and Moye to the PS with Woods. Once again the Steelers saw some things I didn't.

I really like Woods, solid character guy, Great hands and good rte runner with good speed & quickness. He'll be back next training camp after Sanders leaves, hope he makes it.

I would like to see more of Moye. I really thought he would make the roster after he played so well in the preseason. I liked Brown too though but I don't think he showed nearly as much as Moye. I really think Moye made the team because he showed so much hustle on that pass that got picked off and would've been six if he didn't chase him down and tackle him.

Don't get me wrong, I like Moye and was pimping him in the pre-season. I can see our WR corp next year as AB, Wheaton, Moye, Justin Brown and K Moore though I'd prefer JD Woods here.

I really thought Woods had a great chance of at least making the PS. Does anybody know what happened? He made a couple of catches in an early preseason game that were downright impressive. One where he dotted the eye like a seasoned vet on a sideline catch and the other where he held on as he was being upended. I thought those two catches alone assured him a spot on the PS.
