is it more important to replace ben or is it more important to replace cam. that seems to be where many are at in this draft. we could throw in is it more important to replace najee into the equation. this is pretty much where we stand.

    .

We did just that with OT.

I'm not saying we will draft a QB at 21. I'm saying I'm not against it. There are actually some good QBs in this class.

Nobody knows what quality of QB will be coming out next year. The projected class is full of underclassmen that don't have to declare for the draft. They can return to school if they want.

Either way we will not be picking in the top 10 next season either.

Whether we draft a QB in the first, second, third, whatever, we need to draft a QB. As things stand for us draft position-wise today, I would accept a first round QB.

i do know one everybody is sleeping on is seth hennigan from memphis. probably not going to wow you right out of the gate but he's stayed at memphis for 4 years and been quite productive. 104 passing TD's with 31 interceptions and ran for another 10. pretty consistent. sleeper?

Would have placed him 5th among DTs at the combine. Mason Graham, his top 10 teammate, only did 24.

I've read Hennigan is projected as a UDFA or 6th/7th round at best. I watched him play all 4 years at Memphis. I really liked what I saw from him. But I really liked Paxton Lynch too. His workouts will prove his draft placement.

i don't think he will walk in and start day one but the results have been pretty good. i have seen him play quite a few times. not bad. better than where many are placing him in this draft. would be well worth a late round pick.

When he first started at Memphis it was because the projected starter got injured. I'm not sure the exact number but his first 3 games, I think it was 3, he ended every drive with a score. That is as a true freshman. I knew then he was the QB there for as long as he wanted.
What is the knock against him? He didn't play for one of the big conferences?

I think he can be a NFL backup.

Many of those Memphis QBs put up good stats then bust in the NFL.

Donald was a freak. The Steelers never had a shot at him, but if he had somehow fallen and they had passed, I'm not sure I would have ever forgiven such an error.

Shough turns 26 this season after playing 7 years in college. He was in college longer than John Belushi in Animal House.

Steelers have a top 30 visit scheduled with Texas RB Jaydon Blue, who ran a 4.28 40 at the Texas pro day.
