Steelers 2015 Final Defensive Charting Notes

Thanks for posting. Interesting to see we used sub-packages over 70% of the time. Seems to confirm a lot of people's views around here of where the defense is heading.

 

Two other things that jumped out at me:
- The secondary was only penalised 11 times all season, and Cockerall was the only DB to get flagged for PI more than once. Admittedly, you have to be close to a receiver to get that penalty, but still... pretty good.
- Jarvis Jones may not be an explosive pass rusher, but he's not doing everything badly.

 

You are very welcome, I like things like this cause it really gives you a look at things better. After seeing this I would be a little more open to what people are saying about Billings since they showed McClendons stats and also I feel we need 3 picks in our secondary since we are going sub package 70% of the time, I don't care if it is 2 CB's and 1 S or vice versa. JMO
