Let's put a positive spin on this Mac. By the fourth game we will be 3-0 and ravenous. Hungry for blood :)

Here's hoping to be in the Burgh Nov 30, Saints vs Steelers!

Definitely don't like the Baltimore game on such short rest in Week 2, but the Ravens are facing the same problem.

As a fan who watches on TV I'm definitely digging this schedule. As a fan who likes to see a game or two live a year I don't like it. The 1:00 games at home are almost all late in the season.
As for Baltimore, I think they might be a little more worse for the wear than the Steelers are for the Week 2 matchup. Baltimore has Cinci the week before, wheras the Steelers start with the Browns.

I THINK I like them ending with the Bungles. Lots of meaning to the Bungles games the last couple of years. And I wouldn't be surprised if that game was flexed to the Sunday Night game.

As a season ticket holder, I think the game that excites me the most is...the Oct. 26th. 4:25 Game at home against Andrew luck and the indy colts.:steelflag:

    How soft is this schedule?:applaud:

Obviousy :)smiley1:) I am a huge Mike Tomlin supporter. But in reality, anything less than 12-4 would be unacceptable. Should we not make the playoffs, based on this schedule, then even I might start to fall off the MT bandwagon.

    2014 is looking up! :towel:

But finish after the bye week with 3 home games out of the last five, and closing out the season with back to back home games which could be huge. I like the schedule, think it's pretty favorable to them.

Sounds like an omen for a good season. You do realize that if the Steelers go to the Superbowl this year, you're going to have to move around and date a lot for the next few years right? Just kidding. Congrats.

For sure. Couldn't really ask for a better schedule IMO. I don't know about 12-4, but there better at least be 5 or 6 more W's than L's this year. :club:

I know this is WAY early, but I see us splitting with Cincy and the Rat birds, and possibly finishing 12-4? Within their grasp.....

Has anyone been to NY? I'm thinking since it is only a 3.5 hour drive from Rhode Island I might have to take the family!

I guarantee they won't start 0-4 or 2-6 this season like they did last season, I say 10-6 AFC North Champs.

Met Life stadium is a REALLY nice place. I saw the Steelers-Jets there last year. Everyone in the stadium is so helpful and friendly. Maybe they were practicing for the Super Bowl, who knows. Sightlines seem really good too. I was at maybe the 15 yard line and I still thought it was a great view. I do know I would not hesitate to go back there again. Concessions are on the high side, but what place isn't these days?
One word of caution though. If you can find a way, get a parking pass. Otherwise you're parking in a different time zone.

my trouble is the youth factor. we were young on D last year and maybe even younger this year and with some new faces to mesh together. another thing is the jags, carolina, titans all play us very tough. nobody on there is a push over. I like where the bye is. right before the stretch run. 13-3 just like every other year though.:smiley1::cool:

Me too! Hoping to get tix for the Bucs game. My future son in law is a Bucs fan (for some reason since we live in NW PA) and this will be his chance to see his team play.

Tough 5 last games.....666 winning %. And thats with Falcons 4-12. All other teams were 11-5 last season. At least KC comes to Da Burgh for a change. And Aints gotta play us outside. Gals twice. Dont see KC having another 11-5 record. Think this is our make or break part of our schedule. Need to go 4-1 after bye.
