Good luck fella. And to everyone else in the area. Sounds like it could be hell.

(We could post 'insert scathing comment from RPO' at relevant points in the gameday thread for you to fill in at a later point?)

Western Florida looks to be getting the worst of the storm. Be safe.

Be safe everybody, that part of the country is God's country, so beautiful. Lets hope
not too much damage occurs. I hope to retire in the Siesta Key, Venice, Sarasota area in the not too far
    future.

They're fine. Minimal water and minimal wind damage. I think the storm shifting eastward after hitting Naples really helped them out and weakened it. They got lucky and it wasn't as bad as it could have been. The image is from their county website. Red in mandatory evacuation. The orange part of the circle is where their house is. Everything in that area, from the river over, is all a man made canal system, so its basically surrounded by water. If you're familiar with Ft Myers, that's the Midpoint Bridge connecting Cape Coral and Ft Myers.

Good to hear. Definitely got lucky. Lot of people did. Some of those Islands along the way that got hit with full force of it lay in ruin.
