    On to the specialists..

    Overview:
We have on of the most accurate kickers in the business, and it will be needed with the change in extra points... We will see some competition at punter and possibly long snapper... We have seen many times in the past when field position has made the difference in a game, or even a bad snap on a punt or field goal.. These guys are probably the most underrated players on the team.

    PK:
    Shaun Suisham
--- highly accurate kicker that seems to be getting better with the yrs... His kick offs have also improved over time and he now gets them consistently deep. There have been times when Suisham has been our MVP and his presence will be large with the new extra pt. distance.

    P:
    Brad Wing
--- Inconsistent rookie yr., but still possesses one of the more powerful legs in the league.. He boomed the 2nd longest punt in the league last season, and I don't believe the coaches want to give up on his potential yet.. So while he will have competition in camp, I fully expect him to keep his job.

Jordan Berry --- Another Australian punter with a big leg... He will push Wing a bit, but ultimately, will probably be kicking elsewhere

    LS:
    Greg Warren
--- Very consistent LS that plays mistake free ball.. He's gone largely unchallenged, and barring injury, should remain that way.. His time is quickly coming though as he's not getting any younger.

    Next up: DB's

I was at the Steelers Raiders game in Oakland and watched us miss two field goals which directly cost us a loss. I understand it was an aberration but I still cringe when steelers kickers are discussed. It was a 100 mile walk out of that stadium.
