The Steelers game in Cleveland has been moved to a 4:15 pm kickoff to accommodate CBS. Ravens-Bengals also will be a 4:15 start

Looks like a flipping back and forth day.Why move it from 1 to 4:15?.Its a CBS double header weekend so really dont see how this benefits CBS. Sure Im missing something. Anyone???

9999, where did you hear this? I thought these decisions had to be made 12 days in advance and both steelers.com and nfl.com have both games still at 1 pm.
No, wait...week 17 has a 6-day rule, so I guess it is possible.

    Link please

I'm just glad they moved the Ravens/Bengals game also , to keep both games playing at the same time.

And why would they flex them both?? That doesn't make sense. Would be nice if they flexed us to 4:15 and left Ravens at 1. Would be nice to know what we were playing for.

Bull ****! Now the Steeler's game won't be on in my area - South Central PA. The Harrisburg CBS channel is forced by the NFL to show the Ravens even though 75 miles outside of Baltimore, nobody likes them.

The Sports Bars win out on this one for sure.

Flexing both games of the Bungles/Rats and Steelers/Stains entices many people to go to where they can see the games simultaniously.

4:15 PM start is definitely 5 oclock somewhere more so than a 1 pm kickoff.

    See ya at the bar.
    GO Steelers!

The thing is if the Jets lose to Mia at 1PM, the Bengals get the 6th spot and have nothing to play for.

Goes back to why did CBS move these games?? Do not see a reason other than 4:15 start = more people watching?? Not even sure if that would be true.

    3 ways the Bengals clinch
    1. Bengals beat the Ravens

    2. Dolphins beat the Jets, and
Chiefs beat the Broncos<<< late game

    3. Dolphins beat the Jets, and
Chargers beat the Raiders<<< late game

This can't be true. Cincy is the only 9-6 playoff hopeful. Oak, TN, NYJ are 8-7, if they all lose Cincy will be 9-7 and will get the wild card with a lose.

True fan they can still get in with a loss as long as all the other teams you mentioned lose as well. I was wrong. Thanks for correcting me. Nice pick up!!

If this is the case, I don't see what would have changed. They where both sched to play the 1pm game and they both got moved. If they didn't move the times, wouldn't you still have the same problem?

I don't know if i like the time change?Would've been better I think to somewhat know what were playing for before hand?
We gotta come out and take the game early against the stains!!
