    And the hits keep coming....Injuries
Add in Keisel with a significant groin injury. All 3 could need surgery. Exams today will determine if surgery is necessary.

Pouncey could potential need surgery as well.

Roethlisberger not believed to be candidate for surgery on left ankle per Tomlin

Terrible news, but Keisel is the only one guaranteed a starting spot next year, and he has the most manageable injury.

Hampton has to go, he just isnt the same player he use to be. Possibly shove Keisel at NT and move Heyward to Keisel's spot. Giving the line up Heyward Keisel Hood or is that only possible in Madden games ?

i might agree that these guys might be done. Hampton big body type as the nose tackle is a thing of the pass. You need someone lighter but can hold the point of attack and that can rush the passer.

Before the injury I would think we didn't need a tackle in the draft but I think we can use one now. Move Gilbert over to left and Colon stays at right tackle.

Good points. The Steelers D was built to stop the run and it did so very well for years. It's a very pass happy league npw and we need speed, speed and well ... speed.

The only problem is that the league is designed so as to not permits defenses to be able to stop the pass. There really is no defense out there not that can stop the passing attacks (due to rules). The game is very much evolving into arena football. I personnaly dislike the new NFL - I guess there is a segment of society that like to have the real game mimic video games. I can't believe they say ratings are up. I hate shoot-out type games.

hey we agree again. not to mention jon scott played a pretty good game sunday. :-D

i don't think either will make a comeback for next year. they have weight trouble and having either of them sitting around will spell doom for any quick rehab. it's harder on a guy of that weight anyway. they could both be over 400 lbs. by the time they are walking well.
