Freak, "excited" isn't exactly the word I might use there, "concerned" or "scared" work better for me.

What makes anyone really think we are capable of winning all three of our next games? Love the optimism, I'm not a pessimist, but I am a realist. I'll root for them wholeheartedly, but in the end.... we are done. Even if we are fortunate enough to win all three christmas present games.... there are too many external factors that would need to fall into place. We held our destiny in our own hands against both Baltimore & Miami and choked those hopes away.

 

what s gonna happen is that everything will fall into place. the Steelers will win out and all the other teams that need to lose will lose except Miami will win on a last second field goal to beat the Jets.

we are talking about the Steelers here. nothing is easy. they will keep our hopes up right to the end and then our hearts will be crushed.
