    For 6th seed prediction;

    Miami 8-7
    Baltimore 7-8
    Ny jets 7-8
    Pittsburgh 7-8
    San Diego 7-8

this would mean pittsburgh would only need to beat Cleveland

    and

Have Ny jets upset Miami both games start at 1:00!

The channel flicking will begin :)

or if Baltimore is 8-7 we need the bangles to come out and beat Baltimore soooo we are still in this sh!t.....

Only problem is, as soon as Miami gets their 8th win, the steelers are eliminated since Miami holds the head to head tie breaker, even the rats hold the next two tie breakers right now after head to head they have the most divison wins and the most conference wins: But never mind that, the next Miami win to 8 eliminates pitt....

I told you this before. If miami, ny jets, pittsburgh all finish 8-8 (throw in San Diego and Baltimore if you like). Steelers are in if miami should lose to the Jets.. Understand!!!

So no if miami beats New England next week and pittsburgh wins it doesn't eliminate the steelers. Simply put!!

What makes you think the jets are going to be 8-8? I think the fish will go 9-7, and pitt is going to be 6-10 or 7-9 at best, they might beat Cleveland but that's the only win I can see for them in these last 3 games........

Let me make this simple for you

I'm not sold on Miami and I'm sure they will lose 1 game to either New England or buffalo in their next two games. Give them a win for our sake, that puts them at 8-7.

for our sake the Steelers win their next two games, that puts them at 7-8.

I believe the jets lose to carolina on the road, but beats buffalo at home putting their record at 7-8.

Baltimore will lose 2 outta 3 I'm convinced for some reason.
Tennessee will lose 1 outta 3 I'm convinced.
San Diego loses to Denver this Thursday!
It comes down to pittsburgh going 3-0
and the Jets upsetting the Jets book it.

Then this his board will flock the board with negative playoff talk....

Let me make this simple for you.

I'm not sold on Pittsburgh and I'm sure they will lose 1 game either to Cincinnati or Green Bay in their next two games. Give them a win for our stake, that puts them at 6-9.

Though I think you are right about the Jets upsetting the Jets, Rex Ryan is the perfect coach to do that. Especially in the last game he will ever be an NFL HC.

You guys are going to suck me back into this and have my heart broken again!

NE isn't guaranteed anything anymore though without Gronk, completely different team without him. Aside from us winning out, I think that is the biggest obstacle now.

Footballoutsiders.com has the Steelers chances at 1.9%, down from 30+% last week.
makeNFLplayoffs.com has them at 1.0% down from 11% last week.

If the Steelers win vs Cincy, they can't be eliminated next week. A Steelers loss coupled with a Miami or Balt win, eliminates them.

So the Steelers have a 1.5% or so chance of making the playoffs, and a 37% chance of elimination this week.

    Odds is against, big time.

Can we just stop? Unfortunately, guys, the 2013 version of our Pittsburgh Steelers has too many flaws to win out and make the playoffs. Not enough chemistry, talent (coaching and players) or heart. Let's accept that and get ready for what promises to be one of the most interesting off-seasons we've had in a while.

We'll bounce back, just not with this current group of misfits. Not all of them anyway.

I'll play along. The tumblers fall in place, the star align, the 8-8 Pittsburgh Steelers grab the 6th seed....... Now what?

A trip to NE? Or Indy? Or Cincy? Well, anything can happen, remember 2005? But, the last road game against a good team resulted in a team record of pts against.

    Quote from Cameron Heyward;

In my mind we've still got a chance. Until they say we're done with our season, we're going to go out there and fight. It doesn't matter who it is, they better be ready to play us.

The Bangles, Packers and Browns should consider themselves warned!
