He has been impressive at the Senior Bowl practices. He's ranked number 7 QB by draft buzz. He might be around for round 3. Do you take a flyer on him or will he go earlier?

I don’t expect them to draft a qb, but wouldn’t be shocked if they did. With that being said imo if they’re drafting a qb it’s because they don’t believe in bigk and they’ll draft the best available qb as opposed to taking a flyer on day two or three

If they draft a qb in rounds 1 or 2, then it's because they don't believe in KFP. If they take one day three, it's because they released Trubiski and only have 2 qbs on the roster (assuming they re-signed Rudolph).

Rattler sure has had a checkered college career but all reports are saying that he has had a great week of practice at the Senior Bowl. It will be interesting to watch the game tomorrow.

He just seemed to blow up after he was benched at Oklahoma. Man I remember all the Heisman talk surrounding him in Oklahoma after his 1st year.

Rattler has a strong arm, but can struggle with his accuracy resulting in key turnovers; that cost him his starting job at Oklahoma in favor of Caleb Williams. Both QBs would transfer out of Oklahoma the following year.

Pratt over Rattler if we draft a qb in the mid rounds

with his performance at the Senior Bowl he'll probably go somewhat higher than that

Rattler, Nix, and Pennix have all looked impressive. For one day. The other days of practice they've been pedestrian at best. We'll see how the actual game plays out, but you might as well throw Tua's little brother in the mix, who had an impressive Shrine Game. I just don't see us taking a qb before round 6, if at all.

I’m liking Pratt so far but just starting my draft prep. I think they will definitely draft a QB this year, 3rd rd or later.

Great start by Rattler in the Senior Bowl, 3 for 3 and a long TD pass on the opening drive.

In all fairness, he played behind a bad offense line at sc. He has the arm and the attributes to play on Sunday. IMHO, he is better than KFP

No. We really shouldn't waste a pick on a mid round QB. Rather what Kenny/Rudolph can show enough we target a 1st/2nd rd QB next year.

Rattler looked like a polished pro today compared to the other QB'S today. Joe Milton was so bad words can't even describe it.

I'm not a fan of Rattler. I am a fan of Milton, in first round. Senior bowl performances do not move the needle one way or the other for quarterbacks.

If the Steelers draft Milton in the first round, then many people deserve to get fired.

I am against drafting a QB. Whoever decided to draft Kenny Pickett when we had Mason Rudolph should be fired, but that guy already retired so that is that.

It's not like Rudolph showed much before they drafted Pickett.

Every one seems to forget it. Go back to when he actually had to start for us and read the hatred for him, and how Duck was celebrated when he replaced Rudolph. They forget the internet is forever.

I also wouldn't mind Milton... bit definitley not as a First Round player. Fourth Round though is where things can get interesting. The last time the Steelers selected a QB from Tennessee in the fourth round was in 2017; Josh Dobbs. Given how Pittsburgh has two, back to back Fourth Round picks at their disposal, who knows how the board will look?!

As for Rattler, talent and potential for has never been his problem. People tend to forget that he had one of the most electrifying arms ever seen in High School Football coming into College. His biggest shortcomings though were maturity (at least early on) along with an overall lack of development. All that said, he is still worth a look in Round 3 if nothing else.

He won't be drafted before the 4th round by any team. Sure he can throw the ball 88 yards but too bad the receiver was open at 48 yards. He was clocked throwing the football last week at 76 mph but the ball has a more likely chance of decapitating the popcorn vendor in the 6th row than ending up in the hands of the receiver.

Anything before the 6th rd for Milton will be a disaster.

This draft is chuck full with special WRs, Edge Rushers and corners. Id rather scoop one of those than some poor project QB
