Horwitz hits right hand pitching decently, but struggles against lefties. The Pirates have a third baseman at Indy, Malcom Nuñez, who has the opposite split.
Faithful roommate says that the first place to shop should be your own closet. I’d buy Nuñez a first baseman’s mitt and have him start taking grounders. The defensive transition from a more difficult position to an easier one should not be hard.
