I will be at my local watering hole if the game is not on local TV. Except 12/8. I will be with friends in Pittsburgh to watch the cheats at Acrisure.

 

Really....are You also counting the internet service You must have to go with that. That has to be added because You can't have one without the other

I have that on satellite....You do know You can get all of that on satellite....it You have a internet hook up.

I have internet through Spectrum. DirecTV kept jacking up their rates to the point of insanity. I went from paying $35 a month with rebates (2011), to $200+ (2019) in 8 years... and add broadband internet to that. Easily north of $300. And that's without HBO and premium channels. Now I have the Max (HBO) app along with Hulu+, Philo, Netflix, Paramount, Peacock, Disney, AMC+, etc... and it adds up to $260, WITH internet.

 

Well I have 10 HBO channels and 8 different Max channels AMC, and a Peacock channel, and I don't pay even that price. So...
I also never have buffering problems, or the game is just gone. I also don't pay for internet....because outside of My phone....I never wanted it.

 

My Hulu+ app rarely buffers. And when it does, it's only for a 2-5 seconds. My Amazon app... on the other hand did have some buffering issues when I was watching TNF last year during Browns/Steelers.

Only people I know who still use Satellite and Cable TV are members of the baby boomer generation. I don't know any GenX, Millennials or GenZ in my hometown that use Satellite or Cable TV. Everybody born from 1965 to present streams their TV....

 

Then You don't know people that live out very far. Yes if I lived in the city like I did 8 years ago that is probably easier, but not everyone live in town, or right outside of town. Also just because everyone does it doesn't make it good , or right. Billions of people love Michael Jackson, but He would have been a broke a$$ musician if He depended on My money, and the same with rap. McDonald's is the most popular food establishment if You go by sales.....does not make it good food. Problem some people don't think about....just because it's new doesn't make it better. Take My oven for example....it's touch settings. I have to touch...touch...touch...touch to get the desired temp....old twist nob....wam...with the flick of My wrist...I'm already at the temperature.....just because it's new doesn't make it better.

 

Back in my childhood. 19 inch Black and white, only VHF, We got channel 12 (tv was only VHF) out if Erie, sometimes PBS 3 out of Clearfield. When Hee Haw started my dad tried the Buffalo station, my 3 brothers and I took turns running out in the Janurary cold to turn the antenna, fuzzy but watchable. Our neighbors had a rotor on their antenna, we were fascintated with the modern marvel! Then our small community got cable, my dad said they would have to kiss his A$$ before he spend 6 bucks a month. Two years later he broke down and bought a 25 inch color tv, and of course without his butt getting kissed he got cable, 4 Erie, 3. youngstown, 2 'burgh (2 and 11), Johnstown and of course 3 PBS in clearfield.
