    You didn't miss anything. He's injured and he's at the top of the depth chart. A player holds their spot unless they're on PUP or sidelined for the year.

    Plus any roster/depth chart released this time of year is to be taken with a grain o salt. They're always wrong or outdated by the time they send them out, hahaha.

    In early July, my wife had a Lisfranc fracture. She's over 6 weeks into it now and she still can't put weight on it, and they didn't put screws in her foot.

    Granted she's no athlete and she ain't 25,but if Spaeth is ready to play 8 to 10 weeks post injury, I'll be surprised.
