With our current OC and play calling there is literally no way to know if he is good or not .. I say fire the OC and let him design his own plays and call his own plays at the worst he is for sure a better OC than what we have now ..lol

My original concerns of two gloves are coming true. He has no deep ball. He doesn’t have top tier speed. First two games I saw I thought he had some tools. Last two have been pretty uninspiring. He really might be another Baker Mayfield.

 

Pickett doesn’t suck. He’s a rookie with a trash OC and trash O line.

 

I don’t need stats to say he has sucked so far. All I want to see is improvement and some wow games by end of season. Start him all of them because we need to see if he is the guy or draft another qb. If todays showing is what we see in four weeks. The. Move on from the turnover machine.

The Steelers are not moving on from him after this year regardless of results... He will get this contract.

Unfortunately, all this is correct. Thankfully there are glimpses of hope.

I think Kenny can put he's young and 50 throws a game with the highest 3 and put in the league is not helpful.

I did not say they were giving up on him yet. I said if he looks the same five games from now and show no wow factor like other rookie QBs who start shaky but show signs of brilliance. Than we might have to move on if he still sucks and shows no improvement and stays a turnover machine

 

I'd probably take Mayfield at this point
