I love the end of this.

    She's very intense live.

With Mick Jagger and Ry Cooder singing backup, let the debate begin: Who was she singing about? James Taylor? Mick Jagger? Warren Beatty? And you do know that she is the daughter of Simon as in Simon and Shuster, biggest book publisher in the world at one time.

Is it possible that Steven Tyler is Carly and Mick's love child?

1st. I love this song, but it never made sense to Me....because the song is actually about Him. Reminds Me of the song: Stranger In My House(Someone there that I can't see)by Ronnie Millsap . Of course You can't see Him Ronnie.....You are blind.
I didn't know Ry Cooder had anything to do with this tune. That was totally new news to Me. Great tidbit

I got into them in about 1999.
They haven't done anything in along time.

Yea, they're done. Some of the guys are doing stuff with the Deftones singer, I guess....

And the singer is in Sumac. They are verrrrry heavy. Love them!

Whats weird is that this is one of my probably top 5 favorite songs, and its taken me 94 pages on this site to finally post it on here.

Funny, I heard the Mick Jagger and Ry Cooder factoid on some late night radio show, long before Sirius or XM and they talked about it. But when I just Googled it, it mentions Jagger but not Cooder but does mention the first cut featured Harry Nilsson but was replaced by Jagger. Maybe the original DJ I heard was thinking Cooder and not Nilsson? Anyways, Carly has never apparently fully disclosed who she was singing about and tributes it to many different fellows which makes sense. Also, the line about the total eclipse in Nova Scotia had actually not even occurred yet when the song was released but rather a few months later. Weird stuff.

I went through a Marley phase in My life when I listen to Him constantly. I learned a few of His tunes. I still listen to Him, but not as frequently as I did.
