Back in the late 80’s or early 90’s I was waiting tables in this restaurant and one night I get this two top. Throughout their meal I’m looking at this guy thinking htf do I know this person? Finally I said to him did anyone ever tell you that you look like Paul Simon? Yeah I get that a lot. They finish, I deliver the check, he hands me a credit card, and I just happen to check the name as I’m running it through. Yeah, it was Paul and Edie.

 

Nice! The lack of height should have tipped you off.

 

Even as someone who primarily listens to thrash and metal, this is in my top albums of all time. Great stuff.

 

There are very few people that I’ve looked at while sitting and thought holy crap you’re short or holy crap you’re tall. At 7’7” George Muresan made the holy crap you’re tall identification easy.

 

Kak, what's to dislike? That I think "The Perfect Country Song" is perfect, or that I have a tape full of XXX rated David Allen Coe songs? I'm confused!

Just got back from seeing Stryper in concert tonight. I recorded this video, so this song is what is currently stuck in my head. We were really close to the stage.

 

One of My old friends went ,and posted a bunch on Facebook. It's been since High school since I've listened to them. Until now.

I really dig this type of stuff. I went through a big time rockabilly stage. My Father was a singer in a rockabilly band when I was a little one. I believe before it was even called rockabilly.(not sure on when it got its name, but this was the late 60s)

 

No wonder. I don't own anything before Loud as Love

 

Just have to share this amazing piece I just heard for the first time yesterday on Jim Ladd's Sirius XM Deep Tracks. Gary Moore's "Still Got the Blues for You". Talk about owning a tune, and yes he wrote it as well. Crank it up.
