It seems only when I agree with You. LoL
I tend to like almost everything, but I only buy , and collect stuff that has a sound of its own.
Example....Let's use Godsmack for example...they do good at what they do, and people love them, but they always sounded like a direct Metallica/Alice in Chains want a be, but just much weaker(less talented)....almost instead of being themselves.....they tried to get the Metallica, and AIC crowd.
This is long , but it's how I feel. It's like Guys(Guitar players) that want to be EVH, or someone else.... I get thinking they are great, and learning from them....I do, but Why do You want to be them??? I mean why even play.... if that's all You want is to be someone that's already done that thing .....Hell if I want to listen to EVH....I will put Him on.....that just another example.

Well I wouldn't expect you to like everything I like! Haha! I listen to some pretty abrasive stuff.

Sully Erna is the fake Layne Staley. I'd fight him right now if he was around.......like with fists. I'm 100 percent with you on that. I could never stand them. And all those other bands from the 90's that tried to sound and sing like like Nirvana and Pearl Jam.....too numerous to mention....the 90's were where I started to look for underground stuff.....

You sound like me, honestly. There are music styles that I love and always gravitate to.....like Sabbathy style riffs are in my DNA......but there is always that part that wants to seek out something that is going to blow me away for the first time....preferably live.

It's like being a kid and hearing Metallica for the first time. And then Slayer a little later....

Yep, your taste in music is interesting to me. Although, I always tell people I'm the oldest white man who really got into gangster rap. I think I enjoyed the F U they were giving society. You dig the harder stuff which I got into for sure but I'm pretty much into the Rock and Roll of the 70's, got into the Glam stuff of the 80's etc. etc. Only thing I couldn't get into was Country, that stuff could kill me but to each her/his own.

On message boards (only been on 2)I try to picture the person from their post. I actually got together with a few guys from a Pittsburgh Pirate message board and I only got one guy kinda right:) I do it on this board and you confuse me. I go all over the place with you:hmm: I picture a mortgage (bad word) rep. behind a desk and then I go to kick butt girl with a guitar on stage jamming. I like the second one best:lolol:

I got poor S.T.D hunting razorback and skinning them alive.;)

Actually I enjoy checking out the music posters put on here. I'd probably do it but pretty much computer dumb

Hahahhaahhaa!!!! Sorry to disappoint you. I'm a guy. I would never guess there are women on here. I always assume everyone is a guy. Are there women here??

I'm actually Donnie Shell. I used to play for the Steelers in the 70's. After my playing days, I got into the mortgage industry. Do you believe me?

Only lady currently active on this MB of whom I aware is "Fear the Beard". She's quite knowledgeable and very courteous. Not sure how she puts up with much of the colorful/off-color banter herein but she's most welcomed. :thumbs up:

Then there's BigBenHotness and the jury's still out on this member. :drinks:

That one always confused me. I use to watch Steeler games with ladies present and not a one of them found Big Ben "hot". I use to get so P'd when they wanted Brady just because he was "hot".:puking2:

I have Fear the Beard as a middle age guy with a big ass beard.?????????????????
