I like it better how it actually turned out.....LoL, but sometimes this how things get written. You have a sound in Your head, but it is not fully fleshed out....now You can go back to it.
Notice the main feel is still there, and how the melody would go, but not the lyrics yet.

    "Retook" :lolol:

I love how they went into the Harvester of Sorrow riff halfway!

    I noticed that
Thanks for posting this. It was very interesting. I can bet a bunch of bands just trying to make it.....they would hate someone to hear this 1st ruff draft of their songs. LoL
With Metallica.....It can't affect them now.....they are too big, and that album sold like hot cakes ....many ...many years ago.

    Welcome.

And at some point they were probably thinking...."ok this harvester riff rules too hard to not be its own song."

    And it does.

Not the song(well kind of), but the video reminds Me of Sea Beast by Mastodon.
    I play this also.

No one will like this but I really loved the Grand Ole Opry. This was one of the first hymns that I ever learned.

It's was a Guitar bending the notes with His voice at the beginning. This was the album I first bought of any of that Seattle sound....I remember My room mate buying it when it came out, and Us listening to it all weekend....that Monday I went out and got a copy for Myself.

Right. Obviously there was a guitar in there....intertwined.....

I feel Like Cornels vocals were the best on this record. But I don't think the style of singing he incorporated was good overall for the longevity of his voice.

I snuck into Lollapalooza 2010 in Chicago....and it was still great overall, but his vocals definitely were not up to where he was when Louder than Love came out.....

Drugs and a prison stint nearly destroyed that band. Finally started getting the recognition they deserved and nearly lost it all

I did know about the Drugs, but I didn't know about the prison part. I've always liked them.

Chris Kirkwood(bass) got into an argument with someone at the post office. A policeman or security guard got involved Chris hit him with his baton and subsequently got shot. He was sentenced to a few years in prison for it.

Didn't see any tributes to the 50th anniversary to release of Dark Side of the Moon (sorry Santee - nothing to see here ) - I am old enough to have attended their Dark Side tour at the Hollywood Bowl around 72-73 and yes, even remember it well. No Dark Side tune embedded here but a very tasteful Gilmour guitar piece called "And Then" from around 2015.Congrats gents!
