Mark Knopfler is one of My Top 10 favorite Guitar players. This is a great tune. I cam remember when this album came out. I like it better now than I did then.

 

I remember learning this on Guitar a while back, and playing it out.
Well I was playing it on My Guitar this Morning, and now it's stuck in My Head.

Do you have the Princess Bride movie soundtrack? Knopfler did all of the music for the movie, and there's some great guitar on the soundtrack. Same amazing clean tone as 0n Why Worry.

 

No I don't have it, but I have the book, and the Movie, and yes the music is great.

 

I've been a fan of His for a long time. Back when I gave lessons I use 2 try , and turn my students on 2 His playing. Problem is many people don't listen 2 what people play as much as the do tone, or effects. For example: I remember playing Divinations from Mastodon on an acoustic, and people didn't know what it was. I picked up My electric, and stepped on My Distortion pedal, and played it again right after, and they were like ....Wow...I Love that song. I swear this. LoL.

Stuck in my head today (I'm a big rh fan). As simple as the guitar solo is around 3:00, I love it. Especially the part starting at 3:16.

 

I've not listened 2 a whole bunch of Radio Head, so how many Guitar players do they have???Just asking because at one spot I hear 3 different Guitars at one time.

 

For the most part, 2 guitar players, Johnny Greenwood playing lead and Ed O'Brien playing rhythm. But the singer, Thom York does play some guitar at times.

 

So far away from me - Dire Straits.

 

I've listened 2 them, but just not a lot. There is definitely 3 Guitars going on in part of that song. Thanks for the tune

I have a buddy that plays nothing , but Bone Thugs all the time. I'm so tired of Hearing them. Have they even put out an album in the last 10 years???

 

Seen him 3 times now and Zombie always puts on a great show!!, I liked his show better than Slipknots at Rocklahoma last year

 

I didn't go. I didn't want 2 deal with Covid crap.
Hopefully this Year.

 

This year will be their 15th anniversary, (should have been last year) So hopefully they will go all out,, I know the 10th anniversy had the best lineup, IMO

 

If I don't have 2 worry about Pandemic stuff I will go for sure. I just don't like dealing with outside stuff just 2 go see music. I actually haven't been 2 a concert since last time I seen Mastodon. This is the longest I've ever went without going 2 a concert.

 

LOL opposite for me i've already purchased tickets for Korn Chevelle , The eagles, Rocklahoma , Iron Maiden, and Wasp so far this year.. I'm going to more shows than ive been too in years , lol

 

Wasp. I use 2 be a huge fan. Blind in Texas was a huge song in the day. I've never seen them live. Hell I didn't even know they still played. LoL

 

They havn't toured the U,S.A in abt 20 years.. Blackie is a Christian now.. i just hope his voice isnt shot .... I saw them open for Iron Maiden in the 80's

 

lol Their last good album was in 1997 - Art of War
or Krayzie Bone's - Thug Mentality in 1999 if you count solo productions.
