Always dug this song. Very cool! I'm not going to tell you about a time in Hawaii where this may or may not have been played 30-50 times over and over. There were 7 of us and only 2 in contact after all these years. We can't remember the exact number but it was a lot. The Luau had mushrooms that just didn't go with that poor piggy.

 

I bought this when the CD was released (which I think was years after it was originally recorded if I remember correctly). Being a big Van Halen fan, I was excited to hear Eddie play, but the song never grabbed me back then since it was a remake of a theme to a kids show.

But I've been listening to it more recently after it was re-released a few years ago, and I'm enjoying getting to hear Eddie and Brian May playing together. Eddie's main stuff starts around the 2:00 mark.

 

Now for a change of pace. Listen to the lyrics....also everyone on this is very good players as you will see as they each take turns with little leads.

 

Dug that! I like Papa Roach too.

 

I dig Iron Maiden but that song always reminds me of a song Spinal Tap would play.

 

Younger family members always get on my sh!t when I list Buck Cherry first album in my top 10 all time.
