Have You never listened 2 Clutch before???
Seems impossible really. They use 2 be on that first Johnny Knoxville show on MTV back in the day all the time. That's how I first heard them.

Then I tell You You should check out My 2 favorite Albums by them.
Elephant Riders, and Blast Tyrant. I don't like everything by them, but I like both these albums. All their other Albums have good songs here, and there, but those 2 the whole albums are pretty dang good.

Just listened to the song Elephant Riders. I'm definitely getting a Zeppelin feel from that song, especially the guitar playing and tone.

I've only seen them twice live, but I thought they sounded pretty good live both times.

Speaking of Johnette and Concrete Blonde, here's a nifty rendition of this Hendrix classic. Speakers up or headphones on make this work even better. :thumbs up:

Been meaning to gather this one together for some time. Great musicians/composers or guitarists with the last name of Lee - Arthur, Alvin and Albert - each very different styles but producers of some very tasty music over the last half century.I left out Sarah Lee, Brenda Lee and Jamie Leigh. LOL

    Arthur Lee and Love -

Alvin Lee and Ten Years After (not quite Goin Home but still a sweet tune) -

Albert Lee (or is that Albert Einstein?) -

Yea, the most talented dude in the band died. If not for that crash, can you imagine the stuff they would have been putting out?

    RIP

I like the self titled the best. They never put out anything that sounded like that since. its a transitional album for them.

And also the hillbilly hardcore ep and 1st thing they did. Heavier.

Not necessarily rap, but a limp bizkit type of stuff at one time. I can't remember the album, but I have it.

Limp biskit is definitley rap....or rap metal.

Ive never heard clutch being referred to as rap metal before. They did have kind of a rap song. But it was newer....and not good.

This was a whole album pretty much. It wasn't Limp Bizkit exactly, but had that vibe....I for one wasn't into it. I bought it without checking it out because I liked a lot of their music.

Or they want to play mellower music to appeal to a wider fan base. To make more $$$$$$$ Not alot of bands can pull it off successfully and keep their credibility.

The pulse of real heavy music lies in the underground. Always has.

    100 percent agree on ACDC!
