RIP Duane Eddy last week at 86. Always recognizable tunes. His early rock style in the 50's/60's was a trendsetter back in the day - not much compared to these days but he was influential to both Brian May and Jimmy Page apparently per this article. May held him in high esteem. The imbedded video features some cool Go Go dancers.

My Favorite cover tune of all time. Even the bass lines are bad a$$.

Great all around song - I like Dave Mason's version too. Even Dylan's original is very cool. Man had his way with words no doubt.

This technique he used was big stuff 17 years ago....with his double down up picking.

Really? It’s been around since the 80’s. I had completely forgotten about the song until I saw an ad for them playing here soon. As a general rule I’m not a big fan of the octogenarian tours so I’ll be passing on this show

Why would they owe you money?

That's why they created Roger McGuinn and Tom Petty. Here's a team effort by McGuinn and Petty. Hard at times to tell them apart.

So frigging awesome! I know it is Dylan's but this version kicks Bob's ass.

Funny story. I got into a heated argument once over the lyrics. The line, Business men, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth was not what I was singing. I thought it was; "drink my brandy, drink my wine, plowman dig my herb". You can tell where my head was back then.:)

Hey, if Steelers season goes south maybe you could post a video here of you attempting to sing that song. :lolol: I've probably been to a karaoke bar twice in my life. A very drunk guy took a stab at this song. So so so funny. He got a standing ovation just for the comedy.
