Just some down home easy listening live surf music in honor of my Avatar taken recently with my Nikon P1000 with a sun filter with a 3000mm zoom. I've seen these guys (The Duo Tones) many times at small So Cal venues and just a blast hearing this pure genre plugged and unplugged.

I had a buddy that gave lessons at a music store with Me that loved them. He would always be playing this song , or that by them, and asking Me what I thought. He was also big into almost everything post punk.

 

Oh no! Now you’ve done it. I feel bad for all of the electronic devices about to get the kid rock bud light treatment.

The correlation being so many 60's surf tunes with lyrics (before your actual time on 3rd Rock time I'm pretty sure) included the word "Sun" in their title - "Warmth of the Sun", "We'll Follow the Sun", "Out There Having Fun, In the Warm California Sun". Hence........... a Sol selfie - up close and personal. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't catch many indigenous references to life in Ark-can-saw either. But all's good STD, you have an old soul that serves you well I believe.

 

Thank you - I was surprised and impressed myself and it was spontaneous without a tripod. You should see the original. Boggles the mind all that was going on way out there.


PS - For more detail - copy paste it into say Word or a photo app and enlarge - won't be as clear as original but it will give you more detail than the avatar size image.

 

LoL. I actually thought it was the sun, but I have never thought of taking a picture of it. Where I'm at right now .....We try to stay as far away from it....when it's 83 before it even comes up, and well over 100 before it ever goes down.

 

Im the opposite. I only make love to witches. And witches make my coffee also, and barrel age the beans in whiskey barrels.
