I never seen this. I always thought that was a theremin I heard. Here it was the Guitar, and keyboards together. The bass is distorted big time. I Love this .

Yes....I was just mistaken. Strange keyboard sound mixed with what the guitar is doing.

Fun Fact....Did You know that the Guy singing this song on the recording is not even a member of Pink Floyd???? They couldn't do it like they wanted so they Hired Roy Harper to sing it.

Pink Floyd wrote a line I loved so much I had a bumper sticker made up. "We're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl, year after year". I find that a great analogy on how life tends to be.

Not my type of music usually, but this was catchy as hell when it first came out. Also I thought it was a black dude(i don't know why ) I was kinda picturing a Guy like the singer from Fine Young Cannibals for some strange reason:hmm:, and I remember the shock the 1st time I seen the video. LoL

In honor of Sir Elton's (supposedly) final concert cannot not post this memorable and best (IMHO) couplet tune live from MSG. Nice touch with the duel lead guitars, simulates the studio version closer than the single that I've seen live a few times. I still like his very early folksy material as well. Well done Sir! (Thanks you Bernie too!)

Was all set to say yes but then remembered it was October Sky I saw a few times about the kid rocketeer from West Virginia who went on to big things with NASA. Rocket Man - no - have not - but probably should.

I saw him in Hawaii back in 1974. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album had come out and it was an amazing show. I think somebody called Kikki Dee opened for him. How I remember that kind of amazes me.
