Mount Doom. I believe that's what their Name means. I've listen to them a lot. I have a buddy that plays them non stop. I think it's the only music He owns. LoL

Woke up early this morning with this banging around in My skull. I always wondered what makes a man wake up with a song in His head.

Man, I think that whole album is permanently burned into my brain, I listened to it so much. I actually hadn't listened to their two previous albums for awhile, and just listened to Fistful of Metal the other day for the first time in a long time.

Just discovered that some former Tourniquet members started a new band called Flood. I like the music but the lyrics seem a little tin hat so far.

Looking at some of these bands and songs featured here for the most part reminds me of a quote from one of my favorite old school bands: "Who are you? Who who ....who who...? I really want to know!

Triumph was such a great band. I got into them after Rik Emmett had left the band, so I never got a chance to see them live. I do love watching this performing from the US Festival back in 1983 though. The whole show is on YouTube. I’ll drop this one here too. It’s Emmett’s solo at the festival. Not just great playing, but great performing to the crowd. Most of these types of live solos are just a “look what I can do” shred wanks, but Rik did it in a fun way.

Conspiracy theories. Talking about being implanted with micro chips and having to resist things like that.

My favorite band too though, this and "Squeezebox" are probably their worst songs, IMO!
I knew I was officially old when I went grocery shopping a couple weeks ago and this song was playing on the store's system. What's next? "Won't Get Fooled Again" in the elevator?
