    correct

and Pickett has not shown the ability or threat to do so. No secondary has been afraid of him downfield, WHATSOEVER, at ANY POINT

That throw is a good example of what is good about Rudolph and where he needs to improve. He is often a statue in the pocket. Sometimes, that is good because he is letting plays develop. Sometimes, not so much because a step or two in the right direction could buy him the space he needs to step into a throw.

If the Ravens play most of their starters, they will be a good test for him. There is a good chance at least Queen, Humphrey, and Hamilton will sit. All of them are dealing with minor injuries and could use the time to heal. That means the unit that has been outstanding this year won't be out there, at least not all of it.

Effort may be an issue for the Ravens. Players sitting the game out will be an issue for them.

I'm sure, but is that enough when they don't need the game and many of their key guys will be sitting? I'm sure the Steelers are capable of finding a way to lose no mater how many starters Baltimore sits, but it remains to be seen if anything resembling the Ravens' normal defense is out there Saturday.

I prefer whichever angle makes me look smart, which is one that can't always be found.

I hadn't seen that All-22 yet, and I suppose you could make the argument for him bouncing back just a bit so he could step more into the throw. I was more taken with him hanging in there without panicking and still delivering a heckuva throw. Your list of shortcomings for him are definitely the three I would have listed from his past starts, and it's been a (pleasant) surprise not to have seen many hints of them thus far, outside of some minor mechanics.

We'll see how he does against the D in Baltimore.

LoL. Only in the summer. Gets hot in Arkansas. Because I don't prerecord., and it recorded live..I actually have to shut off My air conditioning to record , or You will hear it. In 110 heat....it gets hot fast without it running. I have thought of doing what most do , and prerecord,, and then fake like I'm actually playing what You hear, but I can't bring myself to do it.

Well, as a player (so he claimed) he understood certain X’s and O’s. However, regarding assessment of talent, teams, etc, he basically just posted what former players have said and took it as gospel. Never mind that it’s easy to find former players who have diametrically opposed views on just about anything.

I haven't blasted him and I won't. He is playing well and it's a nice story. There is a decent chance that story continues Saturday if the Ravens sit many of their defensive starters, but that doesn't mean I won't mock people for making too much out of what he does in three games against poor competition. Now if the Ravens suddenly decide to play most of their guys on defense and he plays well, I'll be much more impressed.

good point. historically, on the last game of the season, teams needing a win have not fared well against teams not needing the win, surprisingly.
