The Steelers offense pretty much sucked the first half. The second half, it appeared Ben had his way with the Ravens defense. Were adjustments made at halftime by Haley? Questions. 1) Haley was calling the plays in the first half right? 2) It seemed like Ben was calling the plays in the second half. Is this correct? When Ben runs the no huddle and calls his own plays he is basically unstoppable. 3) IS there a reason our offense does not do that all the time? If you have a veteran franchise QB that is as knowledgeable as anyone about the game, why do you need an offensive coordinator? Does Manning, Brady, Brees or Rodgers
call their own plays? Why not let Ben run the show? Why does our offensive play 2 quarters instead of four most of the time?

Read this morning that Ben said they didn't use no huddle much in the 1st half because of crowd noise. They went to it in the 2nd and had much more success, he said that was on him for not trying to do more of it in the 1st half.

They moved the ball on their side of the field in the first half, but then the Ravens D tightened once we got into their territory. Give them some credit. Regardless of how they've played this year, they showed up last night. It was a rivalry game. Yes, the offense left some plays on the field during the first half, but I'm not so sure huddle versus no huddle would have made that much of a difference. Ben definitely threw the ball better in the second half. They started throwing the ball to Bell in the second half. They ran the ball better in the second half. Unfortunately, the defense couldn't force a punt in the second half.
