I've reached the point where we play down to the competition consistently enough I don't think there are any "gimmies". I'm trying to remain optimistic and it does look good on paper, but that's been the case so many times before and left us feeling flattened.

Me too. I actually have us putting up 31 points against the Jags. I agree, the offense isn't the problem here.

I've reached the point that instead of thinking we're playing down to the competition, I'm thinking the competition may be playing down to us. :hmmm:

Bortles is the most sacked qb so MAAAAYBE we might be able to get a sack. Someone should remind Worilds it's a contract year.

If we keep playing like we did on Sunday, Bortles current record may well be short-lived.

Well I just read that Jacksonville had given up the most sacks and didn't realize he wasn't playing the whole time.

I see a more focused group of men this week after a shameful loss and overall performance. Candidly I am looking forward to AB and Bell studying Heath and how he celebrates after a TD :)

Bell said he's going to keep celebrating, he better not get no penalties for it.

Yes I read that too and I was a bit taken back by it. If I was the coach and thankfully I am not lol I would go to Bell and say you celebrate again and as a result there is a penalty you will be riding the pine. This is what is required of this team. They have lost their way. It's time for some heavy handed discipline and repercussions for errant behaviour

Pretty sure Tomlin managed to help us lose against the Jags in the playoffs a few years ago..... take nothing for granted.... we just lost to a bad Tampa team. I just hope we aren't unleashing hell this week.

Yeah, he can do his silly little pointing for a first down and celebrate TD's but better not cost the team anymore penalties. Tomlin absolutely has to come down on him if he does.

Tomlin said if these guys keep getting stupid penalties they "will be dealt with". Whatever that means. He should just tell them to knock off the self congratulatory bullcrap. Period. Don't even risk getting a penalty.

Yeah it's stupid and you'd think it'd be a point of pride to some when they look back at all the pizzaz crap they think they're doing and ultimately getting their butt kicked in the W-L column. Just hand the ball to the ref like Heath does or Barry did. If I was a ref y'all would hate me because I'd throw a damn flag every time Brown dropped the ball at my feet after a first down making me have to pick it up. I just think it's tacky and pretty disrespectful. Another thought, maybe if they quit acting like jerkoffs after every significant play, the refs would quit over analyzing everything we do.

Bell should grow up a little! He looks silly always pointing when he makes a first down. Just shut up and get back to the huddle. What good does the pointing do? Exspecially when your loosing. Your a pro in the NFL act like one.....
