Maybe Goodell will do something about these pieces of .... now that they boned it so badly on a nationally televised game. These dopes shouldn't even ref a pop warner game. :bs: :bscow: :bs: :bscow: :bs: :bscow:

There should be a fan boycott to all the games this weekend of some sort if the real refs aren't brought back starting tomorrow.

The Steelers are on a Bye week so I'll be sure to participate.

Tht MNF Game was garbage with the way it ended and everyone but Pete Carrol apparently knows it.

No question. Maybe Larry Foote's (alleged) comments will be echoed in GB now. We finally have it. These refs have clearly cost a team the game.

I'm no Green Bay fan, but I hate to see a team get stripped of a win like that. As bad as some of the officiating has been, this has to be the worst yet.

Somewhere the actual refs are kicking back with a cuban cigar blowing dollar signs and thinking "cha ching! cha ching!" This is the craziest thing I've ever seen in my 25 years of watching football.

I'm actually glad that we suck on D this year. Because if we DID make it to the Super Bowl and this thing is STILL not settled I wouldn't even want to THINK about what might happen!

Yes, bad bad call. BUT...Jennings was in perfect position to simply swat the ball down. He didn't. Lost in this complaining about the refs is that Jennings made an absolutely TERRIBLE play on that ball and his selfish interest to pick off the ball put them in that position.

In his defense I suppose though you could make the case that yesterday during the Titans game they knocked down a Hail Mary and it got caught! It's just a catch 22. Man it sucks though. I hate Hail Mary plays period. I just don't think they are based on skill and I hate to see people win on what is basically luck. This game that we love should be based solely on skill. I understand that there is such a thing as the "right place at the right time" but I just don't like the play.

Yeah, you're right. To suggest a DB shouldn't pick off a pass thrown right in his arms to seal a game is just silly.

I think we will see the real refs soon. That ending on MNF was the nail in the coffin for the replacements.

    Haha yeah. :D

Don't they always say bad calls go both ways? The Packers had bad calls go their way during the game too, and yeah...4th down 'hail mary' in the endzone...smacking it down over fighting for possession. Silly. </sarcasm>

even here in Germany, one of the big national weekly magazines has an online article about the terrible performance of the refs during the MNF game up ... actually it was up less than 6h after the game ended

I 100% FULLY agree! However in this NFL, It's all about me and the Fantasy Points. The player can make the bigger play and immediately jump to his feet doing a double thumb pump to the name on the back of his jersey. The mentality has changed in just a few short years and the quality of the product is suffering tremendously so much that John Gruden looked like he was ready to call it a career last night.

That being said. The call was absolutely horrendous, incompetent, jeopardizing and potentially devastating to a team and it's 75,000 + owners. We will see at the end of the season if it will have an impact or not. Right now all they can do is prepare for their next game.

I would have hated to deal with the aftermath at my house the this morning because everyone would have been awake at 1 am inluding my neighbors. Maybe my passion for the game is too deep but I gaurantee that it will no longer be UNTIL they get real refereeing because now I know for sure I will not take it as seriously as I just did yesterday.

That doesn't over shadow the fact a ref and the replay booth blew a very clear call.

And what's ridiculous is that possession can't be reviewed on that play!!! I just don't get some of these replay rules

Yeah I'm with you. Some of the rules are so over thought and complicated. Then other rules completely lack any common sense. The NFL's rule book is a joke.

More ineptness by the officials, wow, how much worse do they have to get before the owners and Goodell budge? And it doesn't matter if the ball should be knocked down (which is arguable anyway), the fact is, the replacement refs cost GB the game. They shouldn't be here, get rid of them.

Even though he was sick with it, Aaron Rodgers admitted they shouldn't have been in that position, anyway.

While I know everyone is disgusted with the replacement refs, I can think of many HORRIBLE calls by the regular officials. I don't feel bad for GB. Bad calls happen and it's part of the game, unfortunately. The Steelers suffer sh*tty calls all the time. It is what it is. I often think of the TD pass Hines caught a few seasons ago... He caught it, landed in the end zone and rolled out of the end zone. After rolling out he lost the ball. But he did a full roll in the end zone. They called a no-TD. I've seen SEVERAL WRs do that and get the TD, since that play. And that was the regular refs. As far as I'm concerned, the replacements aren't a big change.

Vegas made out.... just heard on Dan Patrick show that Vegas betters lost $150M. Bookies made $150M. Vegas got paid. Lol!

The problem Rusk is they aren't supposed to be here. And while the real refs blow calls too I've never seen one so bad as yesterdays) they at least know the rules. Also, there is an issue of integrity, I don't believe for one second that these guys are above making a bogus call in favor of a bet or their fantasy league. Especially when one ref was canned for making a reference to it during a game. If one said it, you know others are thinking it. Actually, I think he was canned for tailgating with the fans but it was the same guy.
