I know there’s still hope to win the Division and even the Number 1 seed but I’m worried about more injuries. I know injuries are part of the game but at this point I would say play the starters the first half and rest them for the second half unless we find out that the Rats are losing BIG and our game is a tight one.

If Ben plays to pass the ball at least 40 times and hope the deep ball is working........If Batch plays to run the ball, use PA and hit the routes underneath....We win barely I hope if Ben plays and we win by 3 scores if we start Batch...

Don't take it wrong Ben is 20 times the QB as Batch it's just our plan is at least 20 times worse from BA with Ben playing.....Without the deep connections and the Bombs away plan we stand a good chance of not winning the game.....

    1. Grind Hillis into the ground.
    2. Force Seneca Wallace to make his typical dumb floating passes and keep him on his heels.
    3. Contain Joshua Cribbs on special teams.
    4. Limit stupid penalties
GO STEELERS! Basically, DEFENSE has to step up in this one. :towel:

Be effective in the Redzone, both on offense and defense.

Oh, and bust out our RBs.

I think your going to see a similar game to the Rams game. More running maybe around 20 throws form Charile. As long as special teams doesn't let Josh Cribbs make it a game, we limit turnovers, we will be fine. Hillis doesn't worry me much, seems like we struggle against smaller stout running backs than bigger ones.

It has not been determined if McCoy is out yet. Wednesday is the day . If he practices then he may play or they may decide to keep him healthy for next year :)

Yikes. I just assumed he'd be out because they don't want JH wishing him a happy New Year. :D They don't have alot to play for so I hope he doesn't play.

Do the Steelers really game plan, or do they just do what they do? The New England game strikes me as the only one in which the offensive game plan seemed designed to exploit the weaknesses of a particular defense.

Glad to see Carter back. With him close to full strength I wouldn't mind sitting Harrison and Troy (Mundy starts) for the playoffs. I hope Woodley stays out of this one, too. Wouldn't mind seeing everyone above not playing, except for Carter. Maybe he could split time at OLB with Timmons so as not to rush him back too soon/too much.
