I mean if they tie they both get in. Why wouldn't they just agree to play to a tie?
just hope it's not close late so they play conservatively. division rivals, both want to win
Wait, what???!!! Is that true?
Division rivals. I can’t see anyone with any competitor spirit doing that.
At this particular moment in history, I mean, if it happens- it's just the latest screwy thing. I can savor this win at this moment just fine. If it is a tie- and this is how the season ends, not with a blowout loss to the Chiefs- I can live with that.
Yes. It's true
Well that just shot me down a peg.
I’m with you. Let the Lions tie eliminate us, not the Ravens!
I can't see either team wanting to give up seeding so their rival can make the playoffs.
My thoughts exactly. You would think it couldn't happen. But in this current era....anything can happen.
Some one would have to throw a game to tie.
Just pure hatred for each other. You can always count on some knockout hits. And that’s just in the stands.
Respect, , integrity, penalty from the league. Do you really think two teams conspiring to fix a game would really fly?
Turn off Ancient Aliens and take off the tin foil hat.
Integrity of the league. NFL wanted tonight to be a playoff game. Tie won’t happen, trust me.
Yeah this would suck if this is how it goes down.
I agree. They would have to choreograph it perfectly to ensure deniability, or the franchises would be massively sanctioned by the NFL
Very rare that I agree with you, but I agree.
Though the game is in Vegas
I HATE that show Ancient Aliens.
Sweeping the Stains and Rats has a nice ring to it. I am not so sure how we'll do next week if there is one. JMO>
I love the other person, but I just don’t get where some of this nonsense comes from. The ramifications from something like that would certainly be unprecedented.
How is any different than a team resting all their starters the last week of the season? How is it any different than a team tanking their last couple of games to gain a better draft selection. As far as I can tell there is no rule that would prohibit these teams from doing this.
Dude turn your computer off.
Assuming no tie, we are looking at KC
Let's just say we can agree that we both hope your right!
